RUM RAVE
Get picked up in an air-conditioned bus and take a drive through Castries, the island’s Capital. Follow a winding road that takes you all the way to Morne Fortune next to one of the first colonial houses built on the island with a fabulous view over looking the city, one of many scenic picture opportunities. Continuing on our way, we go to the top of the Famous Marigot Bay, which was one of the strongholds of the British. Next, travel through Roseau Valley, which once cultivated sugar, now housing the largest Banana Plantation on the island. Nesting there is the Rum Distillery which has earned its place in the world market. There you can tour the factory, taste our local rums and also get to purchase some of the world’s finest.
GROS PITON CLIMB
Enjoy a ride down the West Coast Road, taking you into two old villages – Anse la Raye and Canneries – and though the town of Soufriere, once the capital of the island, onto the foot of Gros Piton where the excitement begins. (One bottle of water per person.)
VOLCANO MUD BATH
Get ready for a bath like no other! Start off with a wonderful drive on the West Coast Road with beautiful scenery and old villages. The ride does not stop there, taking you through the town of Soufriere to the only drive-in volcano in the world. (Tour includes bottle water, Piton beer, biscuits/cake.)
SHOPPING TOUR
A short drive from your hotel takes you into the capitol city of Castries, for shopping at Duty Free Point Seraphine (travel ticket needed). It does not stop there – your tour also includes one of the best craft markets on the island in the heart of Castries.
